HOW DO I LEARN TO HEAR GOD’S VOICE? 

1. Be still.

 “Be still, and know that I am God! …” Psalm 46:10 NLT

 • God speaks through His Word. 

• God speaks through people.

 • God speaks through circumstances. 

• God speaks through His Spirit. 

2. Be willing. 

Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:6 NLT 

3. Be ready. 

Read 1 Samuel 3:1-21. When was the last time you were completely still before God, listening for His voice? 

How do you most often hear from God?

 What is God showing you right now? 

What are you going to do about it?

  The Gospel of Our Creation Psalm 100:3 Know that the LORD he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.… It is he that hath made us, and not we. This declaration was held to be a gospel. It occurs in a psalm that may well be regarded as a universal psalm. It is not for Jesus only, but for "all people that on earth do dwell." And amongst the reasons wherefore it calls on all to be joyful in the Lord, there is this one - that "it is he that hath made us," etc.   I. NOW, WE CANNOT CONCEIVE OF GOD AS ACTING WITHOUT MOTIVE. And -   II.
